Hydration of the skin is about the outermost layer of the epidermis also called the stratum corneum of the skin. The function of the stratum corneum is to protect the skin from environmental influences. A hydrated skin is supple and soft and has a nice glow. Tightness and any itching in the skin disappears.

Both skin boosters from Juvéderm and Restylane are designed to last longer than all other skin boosters on the market. The hyaluronic acid in these two is cross-linked, meaning that the hyaluronic molecules take a long time to break down.
Improving skin quality up to 9 Months
Clinical studies show that skin boosters from Juvéderm and Restylane improve skin quality for up to 9 months after treatment. With traditional skin booster treatments such as mesotherapy, it usually requires several treatments with a few weeks’ interval, and the shelf life is less than a month.
The advantage of the treatment is also that the skin forms its own connective tissue in the areas where we have applied skin boosters.
This means that even if the hyaluronic acid is broken down over 9-12 months, the skin will still have formed its own connective tissue fibers, which can have a filling and smoothing effect on the skin.
Skinbooster Treated
First, go to a consultation at the clinic, if you have not had fillers at Derma Solution before. Here we look at the moisture level in the skin as well as your overall skin quality.
48 hours after the consultation, we can do the treatment itself. The skin is cleansed and applied with a local anaesthetic cream, so that discomfort is minimised during the treatment.
Then inject small drops of either Juvéderm Volite or Restylane Vital into the entire skin with a very thin and fine needle. For fine scars and lines, we apply a concentrated dose to especially improve the skin quality in these areas.

Restylane Vital is primarily used if you have fine lines and wrinkles that also need moisture. Restylane Vital gives a bit of fullness to the skin, which is why it is especially good for older thin and wrinkled skin. Restylane Vital is often made as a cure for 2-3 treatments with an interval of 4 weeks.
Restylane Vital Light is used for the very delicate areas of the face such as lines around the eyes. Restylane Vital Light is often made as a cure for 2-3 treatments with an interval of 2-4 weeks.
Juvéderm Volite is a new and innovative skin booster that is used to improve skin quality and glow. Juvéderm Volite contains large amounts of hyaluronic acid, which improves the smoothness of the skin, minimises fine lines, wrinkles and scars. At the same time, the elasticity and hydration of the skin increases markedly. It is best suited for the young skin. Juvéderm Volite requires only one treatment!
After treatment
After the treatment, the skin will be slightly red due to the many fine stings in the skin. There is also a risk of small bruises as well as some swelling. According to clinical studies, 95% of patients were able to return to social engagements one day after treatment.
You can apply makeup and cream 6 hours after the treatment and wait until days after.
The result after the skin booster treatment is only seen a few weeks after the treatment itself. This is because the old, gray and dead skin cells must first fall off the skin before the new, healthy and moisture-boosted skin cells reach the skin surface.
After 2-4 weeks, the skin quality will be visibly improved – with an increased moisture balance, minimised fine lines and scars, better glow and radiance as well as increased elasticity.
The difference between skin booster treatments and mesotherapy is that mesotherapy is typically based on a cocktail of vitamins and hyaluronic acid, where the hyaluronic acid molecules are not cross-linked. That is, the effect of mesotherapy is very short-lived – perhaps only a week. Therefore, skin booster treatments are clearly preferable as the effect is long lasting.
